Ramadan — A Time To Dream The Impossible
A time to decide who you want to be

Have you heard of the really beautiful trend that started on Instagram recently (ok not too recently!)?
It’s a trend based on a poem by Jennae Cecelia called ‘I met my younger self for coffee.’ She writes about a conversation she has with her younger self. It’s a beautiful trend that has had people rewriting, remaking this poem into their own meetings with their younger self.
I’m not usually one for trends, but I found this one so heart warming. It was lovely reading different peoples conversations they would have with their younger self. The nostalgia, the warmth, the regrets. All of it.
Conversations ranging from the small things like changes to their clothing choices to the big things like family, work and dreams.
It made me reflect on what would happen if I was to meet my younger self for coffee. I sat with myself and wrote for (quite) a bit.
I wanted to share a small window into that conversation. (Don’t expect any poetry though, it’s just a brain dump!)
